Enterprise Operations Management System (2014 – Present)

Victoria is the capital city of British Columbia, located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island off Canada’s Pacific coast.  Victoria is one of the oldest cities in the Pacific Northwest and has a large number of historic buildings, in particular the famous Legislative Buildings and Empress Hotel.  Also known as “The Garden City”, the over 80 000 people living in Victoria enjoy the temperate climate and natural beauty it has to offer.

The City of Victoria, British Columbia contracted AGL to implement the Cartegraph OMS System for Asset and Work Management across the city.

The project includes a bi-directional integration to the JDE financials for Labor, Equipment, Materials, Purchasing and more. At this point in time the JDE Integration has been completed and fully tested.

The Facilities Maintenance Division has recently gone live with work and asset management covering their 79 facilities and the Underground Utilities division will be going live later this year covering all Water, Sanitary and Storm assets within the City of Victoria as well as neighbouring Esquimalt Township.

In the early Fall the City will be going live with a full fleet management implementation including an integration to the ProFuel fuel management system and their soon to be acquired AVL package.  And rounding out 2015 the Right of Way Management division will be going live covering all assets within the road right of way.

In concert with the engineering & public works asset management program the system is also being utilized for financial asset management for PS-3150 compliance. The system is able to perform all required calculations and generate the applicable TCA schedules required to be reported on.
